I sleep well at night knowing I have your team of professionals working to make my tournament the best it can be. From the initial meeting with the red shirted bag loading greeters, to the cute, cowboy hat and boot warring refreshment cart attendant, all are top notch. Even the staff that handles the pro shop, paper work, endless e-mails and phone calls makes the event seamless. In my eleven Randall Scramble outings there at Woodbridge, I have yet to log one complaint from any attendee’s.
I had one player this year, which co-chairs a charity event at a private club each year; reflect about how hard it was to put together a tournament. I told him he just needed the right tournament staff to work with because I characterize my efforts as casual. The only difficult thing is convincing people to take a busy Saturday from family life and play some golf, everything else falls into place.
I still get goose bumps to this day when I pull up and see all those golf carts lined up around the half circle and the greeters there waiting to serve each participate as they arrive. That makes me feel important and all the others special. I’m already looking forward to next year.
